Christmas Content Marketing

Today is the final day of November and while you may still be hosting a few Cyber Monday promotions, the next big thing you are probably looking towards is Christmas! For all businesses, Christmas is a time when you'll see a spike in sales. But while Christmas will already see a natural rise in sales, you'll see an even larger increase if you try hard to cover it in your marketing. Content marketing is a perfect way to focus on the festivities and in today's blog post I'm going to talk about Christmassy content marketing.

When exactly you should start doing Christmas-based content marketing is up for debate; some people will say that you shouldn't really started before the first of December (since some people get annoyed by things like this) but then others will say you need to start well in advance so that people get you in mind as a Christmas option quite early on. When to start is ultimately your call but the more important question is not when you start, but what you'll actually write!

Pieces of Christmassy content come in all shapes and sizes and, really, you can do whatever best suits your business - there are no strict guidelines. Maybe you'd like to do some kind of advent calendar where you share one new Christmas reduction every day? Perhaps you could make a Christmas card from your business (something with Christmassy pictures of your products or mascot), which you share often on social media? Maybe you write a series of blog posts about how your products make for great Christmas presents? Or how your products can help people to host superb Christmas parties? Perhaps a Christmas sweepstake might be in order? Maybe you even go ahead and make a Christmassy music video with all the people in your office! The possibilities are virtually endless.

Whatever you do to market your business this Christmas, I hope that it will be successful and that you'll make a lot of sales and reach new customers.
