Social Media Marketing with TweetDeck

Twitter is one of the best social media websites when it comes to marketing. You can see what your competitors are doing, reach new customers, maintain the interest of old customers, answer queries and just generally present a positive image for your business. But it can be time consuming and, occasionally, hard to keep track of everything; if you find that these are common problems for you then you might like to try using TweetDeck. It's a little known service that Twitter provides and is free to use for anybody who has a Twitter account.

TweetDeck is a handy dashboard which can be used to manage your presence on Twitter. You're given several different columns which each show a different aspect of your Twitter usage (and you can add more if you want). One column will show all the times that you have been mentioned by others, another will show all your private messages and additional columns can show you whatever it is you want to have visible. Not only that, but you can use it to schedule tweets in advance, meaning that you can keep active on social media even when you're going to be away from the computer and it also lets you know what you have and have not replied to.

It offers a fair few handy features and can really help to streamline your Twitter usage. As it is completely free to use, there's absolutely no reason that you shouldn't go and experiment with it. Perhaps you'll conclude that you prefer running Twitter by logging in as usual, that's fair enough, but on the other hand, perhaps you'll find it to be revolutionary and use Twitter exclusively through TweetDeck from then on; so give it a try. I hope you'll find success with your social media marketing strategy.
