Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, is now the world's third richest person with his fortune being as high as £49.5 billion! That is an insanely huge amount of money and something which simple bloggers like me and small business owners like you can't even begin to wrap our heads around - you couldn't spend that much money in a lifetime if you tried! But, really, this shouldn't be too surprising when you consider the fact that almost everybody orders from Amazon when they want to buy something online.
 

So what can you take from this piece of news? Well, it just goes to show how huge the eCommerce industry has become and you should be very excited to be a part of it. Sure, it might be a little disheartening to know that Amazon has such a large portion of the market, but more and more, there is a growing demand for small independent businesses in the eCommerce world. Amazon is huge and everybody uses it just because that's all they know - many would prefer a smaller scale, more ethical business such as your own.
