Backup Writers

Content marketing is one of the best ways for you to help increase traffic to your website (I wonder how many time's I've said that?) and one important thing with content marketing is sticking to a regular update schedule. Sticking to a schedule means that people know when to come back to your site if they enjoy your content and it also means you'll continue to rank highly in search engines due to the regular supply of fresh content. This is why it's a good idea for you to have a backup writer.

Do you do your content marketing yourself? Or do you have somebody else do it? If you're doing it yourself, you may well find days where you're just too tired out from other work or are feeling under the weather and are therefore unable to write anything for the blog. It's inevitable that this would happen eventually over a long period of time. So what you might like to do is have a backup writer who can provide you with pieces of content on any on those days where you're not up to it yourself. If you do have a dedicated writer, you could still do with a backup writer so that you've got somebody if your main writer is ever unwell. As this backup writer is potentially going to have to produce things on very short notice, you might wish to pay them more for their work.

It's just always good to be prepared and having a backup writer is a good way to ensure that you've always got somebody to produce content on the days when you need it. Another possibility would be just to have a team of writers, so if any of them ever have any issues, you can just call on any of the others as a backup. However you manage your content writing, I hope it will be a success!
