Coming Soon: RomanCart with Braintree

By Adam  |  21 Jul 2015 09:00:00

Do you use RomanCart? Are you familiar with Braintree? Have you, perhaps, always thought that it would be pretty handy if Braintree and RomanCart could be used in conjunction with one another? I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this. If the answer to those questions is ‘yes’ then I am pleased to tell you that the ability to use RomanCart with Braintree is coming soon and this, hopefully, stands to help enhance a large number of your eCommerce businesses.

For those of you who are not familiar with Braintree, let me explain it to you: Braintree is a subsidiary of PayPal and, like PayPal, it offers a very useful payment gateway. Braintree accepts a huge range of payment options: Apple Pay, Android Pay, PayPal, Coinbase, Venmo and that's not to mention that it also accepts all major credit cards. Plus, it is available in six different languages (and will come up as whatever is most appropriate for your customers), can be used in over forty different countries and can handle one hundred and thirty different currencies. This is going to be very good for your eCommerce business because it will help to accommodate as many potential customers as possible. With Braintree the risk that a person will be interested in purchasing from you, only for them to be unable to use their preferred payment option and then give up, is significantly reduced!

So, that's something for you all to look forward to. Keep your eyes on this blog, our Twitter and our homepage and you'll be sure to find out as soon as it's available. In the meantime, why not try to think of some other ways that you can make your eCommerce website more accommodating to potential customers? Even if you’re doing quite well and have been doing quite well for a while, it can never hurt to keep coming up with new ideas for improvement.
