Backup Your Files With Dropbox

If you run an eCommerce business, or indeed any business, then you are going to have a lot of important documents which you need to keep safe. These days I expect all of your paperwork will be saved digitally, rather than being actual 'paperwork' stored safely in a cupboard somewhere. I would suggest that you do make physical copies of all of your important documentation, just to be sure that you've got spare copies of things, should you need them, but that is not the main point of today's blog post. In this blog post I am going to talk about the usefulness of a service called Dropbox and how it can be used to keep all of your files extra safe.

Dropbox is a service which you can use to backup your files. If you download Dropbox then you will be given an extra folder on your computer; any files that you put into this folder will also be saved online in your Dropbox account. If you go on any browser and search for Dropbox then you'll easily find their website where you can log in and will then be able to find all of the files that you have backed up with them. You can also download Dropbox on various computers which would just mean that the same folder appears on various computers; something which will doubtlessly be very useful if you have a lot of things to work on but are regularly travelling around; it's certainly safer than memory sticks (which are easily lost) and easier to travel with than an external hard drives.

So do consider using Dropbox to keep your files safe. Not only will it protect you from losing the files in the event of a computer breakdown or house fire, but it will also mean you always have an easy way to access your files. You can never be too safe when it comes to things like this in your business! I hope you will find Dropbox to be very useful for your eCommerce business,
