Blog Post Image Warning

I uploaded this image in the proper way.

When doing content marketing, blog posts can be one of the best forms for your content to take. Keeping a blog has a huge list of benefits: it gives you something to share on social media, it gives you something to share in newsletters, it gives you a good way to endear yourself to your customers, it allows you to cement yourself as an expert in your field and much more. In today's blog post I am going to take you over the importance of adding images to your blog posts and how to do it best.

When you add images to blog posts there are a couple of different ways you can do it: you can upload them directly from your computer, which is the best way to do it and you can also copy an image's URL from another website so that it will appear on your site via the other site, which is the bad way of doing it. When you include images by using URLs, if the original site removes that image, your blog post will lose that image too and if it was a few months later, you may not even know it! This will not look good if anybody goes through your older posts and not only will customers be disappointed, but so might search engine algorithms - Google will not rank a site highly if it features things which will be unappealing to human visitors: broken image links will be easily identified as a negative thing and if you ended up with a lot of them, your site as a whole might start ranking lowly.

So I hope that this will help you to avoid making this mistake on your own eCommerce website! You need to ensure that every part of your site is immaculate and adding images via URLs may ultimately cause some long term harm. But if you don't even have an eCommerce website, then sign up to RomanCart - you can use it to turn any website into an online shop!
