Posting Testimonials

One thing that all owners of eCommerce websites want is for more people to start buying from them. But what can you do to get yourself more customers? How can you make your eCommerce website as appealing as appealing as possible? Well, there are lots of things you can do to make your eCommerce website as attractive to potential buyers as possible and in today's blog post I'd like to talk to you a little about obtaining customer testimonials and using them to promote your website.

If you have a set of regular customers then there's a good chance that you'll be able to use them as a source of testimonials. Obviously, if somebody buys from you regularly, then there's something that they like about you. What you might like to do is set up your confirmation emails so that they always ask customers to leave a written response to your services. Once you have a few testimonials, you can then post quotes from them on and around your website and then people will feel more comfortable with buying from you, because they'll see that others have been satisfied with your services. As there are so many businesses on the internet, people need to be sure that they're using one they can trust (there are a lot of scammers out there) and posting testimonials is a good way for you to assure people of your reliability.

So I hope that gives you an idea of something you can do to increase your website's appeal. Don't forget that you are asking people to give you their payment details and to part with their money: if they're going to do that you're going to have to assure them that you aren't going to take advantage of them and testimonials are a good way of doing that. To further incentivise testimonials, you might like to offer people the chance to enter into a prize draw every time they give you a testimonial, or something like that. You could even just ask directly, some people might be flattered. However you decide to present your business online, I hope it will help you to increase sales and customers!
